I spent summer 2023 as an intern for the Falls Church News-Press, a small, independent newspaper in my hometown. I wrote local interest stories on deadlines for the weekly printed edition and website. Additionally, I wrote a four-part series, titled "The Future of Newspapers," which evaluated how newspapers and other forms of local journalism have faltered in recent years, and what can be done to rectify those issues.
